Spring is in the Air ~ Right!

One of my favorite sayings is "spring is in the air". It is just the fact that it's that time of year when you begin to see the most changes in the environment and foliage. The air seems a little fresher so I breathe easier, so I think, and the smell of the spring flowers alone are a heavenly scent.

And to add to the vibrancy is the colors the flowers such as tulips and lilies as well as the trees that bloom in the spring such as the Cherry trees the Dogwoods and Magnolia trees.

However this year and the reason I selected the word 'right' in the title is that spring has been very slow in coming around as far as temperatures and all. I have noticed that we have had more days below the average temperature than normal. It is almost May 1st and they are predicting a possibility of sleet and snow midweek. WTF?
